Spring is here and summer is right around the corner. It's that time of year when I receive many requests for salads that are high protein, low carb (which usually includes high fiber too). My dear friend, the one that encouraged me to get on social media in the first place, requested an “arsenal” of them. No one wants to miss out on flavor while trying to meet nutritional goals? Okay, let’s do it! I am going to challenge myself to this new salad series, come along and make them with me. I will be posting most of the recipes on Substack.
It seems like “April Showers bring May flowers” has become March downpours bring April Allergies? I am entering my vegetable gardening era with high expectations and a pile of seed packets. There is nothing better than freshly picked produce and herbs for salads. I do not have Martha Stewart aspirations, but I look forward to stepping outside and collecting my bounty with our beautiful bowls. If all else fails, there’s always the farmer’s market.
Order now for Easter and Mother’s Day, we have limited inventory. The bowls are hand made in Michigan so you don’t have to worry about tariffs but I will not be importing the beakers in the foreseeable future, and I still can’t get Pyrex to make them so I advise you get them now.
